Bridgecross, LLC is proud to be included in the Washington Business Journal’s 2026 ranking of the largest employers in Greater Washington, based on metro-area employment.
The list includes businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government entities that collectively employ more than 977,000 people throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. This year’s expanded online ranking includes hundreds of additional employers beyond those featured in the print edition.

Here are the 107 largest women-owned businesses in Greater Washington
1st SBC Solutions, LLC — an 8(a) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) Women-Owned IT Joint Venture — has been awarded a 3-year, $3.9M contract from NOAA’s National Ocean Service Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (NOS CO-OPS), providing scientific, oceanographic, engineering, and GIS application services.

These finalists are competing for top honors in seven industry and one Exceptional Entrepreneur of the Year categories. Each category winner will automatically become a finalist for the 2025 “Loudoun Small Business of the Year.”
The winners in every category will be announced at the 31st Annual Loudoun Small Business Awards gala, held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at The National Conference Center in Lansdowne.

The 2025 finalists were chosen by blue-ribbon committees led by many of Loudoun’s top business leaders and industry experts, who carefully reviewed the nearly 120 applications for Loudoun’s most prestigious small business honor.
